- I''m 75 years old, s l o w l y working up a kind of landscape for my daughter's recently purchased house. I plan to use sawdust mulch for covering the newspaper-lined paths. (Weed-stopping and ultimately degradable into compost.) This landscape will include flowers and vegetables - vegetable gardening is my main interest and outdoor occupation.

I'm also hoping to be able to build some retaining walls. Due to age and some infirmities, I am finding it hard to move around with all the small hills and valleys...too many for approx. 2.5 acres...on the property. I'm hoping that retaining walls and stepped walkways, maneuvering around and gardening will be easier.
